The Golden Skies R/C Aircraft Extra 300-GS ARF is a super-smooth and aggressive acrobatic, IMAC, and weekend sport-flier that is intended for intermediate sport-flyers, demanding IMAC pilots, and dare-devil 3-D "honchos". Handling qualities are stable enough for a beginner yet agile and responsive for breathtaking 3-D maneuvers which will satisfy the most demanding pilots.

     A 50cc class gas engine will rocket this AUTHENTICALLY STYLED 15-16 pound model anywhere in the sky. The wing spans a full 85", with ample wing area, to slow to a crawl without tip-stalling or misbehaving. This versatile design is at home as a precise pattern-performer, or crank it up and any-speed, slow-to-fast, aerobatics and 3-D are the Extra's true calling.  A universal engine mounting, template for a DA50™, GS R/C SPE40 and other popular gas engines is provided.

      The distinctive cowl, foredeck and canopy are true scale which distinguishes the GS R/C Extra from the other imitations at the flying field. The cockpit interior is cork-painted to prevent over heating and warping.  The Extra includes the best, high quality-after-market hardware, T6 aluminum gear, fiberglass cowl and wheel pants, fully symmetrical wing and tail airfoils, pull-pull rudder, and split elevators for either single or dual elevator servos. The assembly manual is virtually not needed as the GS R/C Extra 300-GS™ is highly pre-assembled for a Quick-Build but with more than 75 assembly manual pictures, it is easy for a beginning builder.... 2-6 assembly hours is all you will need.

     Gas:  GS R/C particularly favors the new DA 50™ gas engine. GS R/C OEMs the DA 50 directly from Desert Aircraft® for Combo-Deals with either the Extra 300-GS or other 28% aircraft.  The DA50 is extremely well suited for all-around flight performance whether for sport or 3-D flying.  The GS R/C SPE 40cc gas engine, will amply fly the Extra 300-GS for sport aerobatics.      Electric:   The Extra 300-GS is designed with a custom electric motor-mount and battery-box combination.  GS R/C recommends the AXI out-runner motor and a 6-8 Series & 1-2 Parallel LiPo battery (~2200 Watts for Aerobatic-Sport Flying, and ~2500 Watts for 3-D).  GS R/C is your source for all electric components:  Motors, Standard or Custom Batteries Packs, Electronic Speed Controllers, Switches, Harness, and of course, Guidance and Support are free.  (Combo-Deals available)
